Spiced Peaches
2 - 16-ounce or one 29-ounce can cling peach halves
½ - cup brown sugar
½ - cup apple cider vinegar
6 - whole cloves
3 - whole allspice
1 - 2-1/2-inch cinnamon stick
Add in saucepan, sugar, vinegar and spices. Bring to a boil and simmer 5 minutes. Drain peaches, add peaches to saucepan, and cook 5 minutes more.
Remove from heat and allow peaches to cool. The spiced peaches and be served warm or cold.
Picnicking & Tailgating: Fix before leaving. If you want to serve them warm, place in a thermal container to keep warm.
However, if you want cold, allow the peaches to cool 1-hour and place in plastic container and seal tight. Place in ice chest.
Makes 7 to 8 servings.
