This is a strawberry-banana recipe for Shirley:
Strawberry-Glazed Bananas 2 1/2 tablespoons of cornstarch 2/3 c. water 1 (10 oz) pkg. frozen sliced strawberries, thawed 2 tablespoons sugar 1/8 tsp. red food coloring 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 1/2 lbs. bananas, sliced (approx. 4 med. bananas) Dissolve cornstarch in 1/3 c. water, set aside. Combine remaining 1/3 cup water, strawberries & sugar in saucepan.
Bring to boil, stirring constantly: reduce heat. Simmer 3 min. longer, stirring constantly: remove from heat. Stir in food coloring and lemon juice.
Add bananas, stirring gently to coat. Serve at room temperature. Serves 6 Athena
