Ingredients for 4 Servings
1 2/3 California nectarines 1 tbsp Butter 1/4 cup Sugar 1/2 cup Freshly squeezed orange juice 2 tbsp Cointreau (optional)
Procedure:
1. Wonderful by themselves or serve with yoghurt or cream. 2. Cut each nectarine into about 10 wedges. 3. Melt the butter in a non-stick frypan, add the sugar and orange juice and cook gently for 3 minutes. 4. Add the nectarines and continue cooking for 4 - 5 minutes or until the fruit is tender and the syrup has reduced to a syrupy consistency. 5. Add the Cointreau if desired.
