My Father gave me a pint of wild raspberries that he graciously parted with after persevering through the heat and poison ivy to pick. I wanted to do something special with them so I came up with this recipe: Raspberry Sauce 2 C. fresh raspberries 1/2 C. sugar 1 tsp. creme de cassis (if you have) 1 Tbsp. cold water 1 tsp. cornstarch Puree the raspberries in a food processor. Strain to remove seeds. Mix the cornstarch and water in small bowl, set aside. Put puree, sugar and creme de cassis in small sauce pan. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until sugar dissolves. Slowly stir the cornstarch mixture into the raspberry sauce, then cook stirring, until thicken slightly. Cool, then store in container in refrigerator until needed. Great over ice cream!!! Enjoy! Sunni
