Hi, I'm a writer and I'm currently working on a science book for children. The theme is 'cooking with science'. I'm trying to find a microwave mistake that can ruin the taste/texture of a food. For example, are there any foods that just don't microwave well...that would be really awful if you tried? I need something that would be a bit silly, but completely safe. No exploding eggs, boiled water...etc.
In the book I'm talking about the differnt ways heat is transfered. The previous page is called "How to burn your toast". Now I need a microwave cooking disaster!
