BARBECUED MEATBALLS
1 lg. can evaporated milk 3 lbs. hamburger 2 eggs 2 c. quick oatmeal 2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. onions, chopped 1/2 tsp. garlic salt or powder 1/2 tsp. pepper 2 tsp. chili powder 3 c. (32 oz.) catsup 4 tsp. liquid smoke 1 lb. brown sugar (2 1/4 c. packed) 1 c. onions, chopped
Combine first 9 ingredients; form into little meatballs. For sauce, combine catsup, liquid smoke, brown sugar and onions; bring to a boil. Pour over meatballs. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 60 minutes. Makes 50 to 70 meatballs.
------------------------ SPAGHETTI AND MEATBALLS
1 lb. hamburger meat 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce 1 tsp. spaghetti seasoning 1 tsp. garlic salt 1 tsp. pepper 1 tsp. salt
Form hamburger meat into small meatballs. Brown over medium heat. Drain grease. Add tomato sauce and seasonings - simmer approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. Serve with tossed salad and garlic bread.

STUFFED CABBAGE ROLLS
1 lb. hamburger 1 lb. pork sausage 1/3 c. uncooked instant rice 1 med. onion, chopped Salt & pepper to taste 1/8 tsp. garlic salt 1 can tomato sauce (15 oz.) 1 tsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. lemon juice 1 tbsp. cornstarch 1 tbsp. water 12 cabbage leaves
Cover cabbage rolls with boiling water. Cover and let stand until leaves are limp, about 10 minutes. Remove leaves; drain. Mix hamburger, pork sausage, rice, onion, salt, pepper, garlic salt and 1/2 of tomato sauce. Place hamburger mixture in each cabbage leaf, roll up, tucking all sides under. Place cabbage rolls seam side down in ungreased baking dish. Mix remaining tomato sauce, sugar and lemon juice. Pour over cabbage rolls. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Mix cornstarch and 1 tablespoon water in saucepan. Stir in liquid from cabbage rolls. Heat to boiling, boil 1 minute. Serve sauce over cabbage rolls.
STUFFED MANICOTTI
1/2 lb. bulk pork sausage 1/2 lb. lean hamburger 2 (15 oz.) cans Hunt's tomato sauce, Italian 1 (6 oz.) Hunt's tomato paste 1/4 c. water 1/2 tbsp. packed light brown sugar 1 (15 oz.) carton Ricotta cheese 3 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese 1 egg 1 tsp. parsley flakes 12 manicotti noodles, cooked, rinsed & drained Grated Parmesan cheese
In large saucepan, brown sausage and hamburger; drain. Remove half meat mixture; set aside. Stir tomato sauce, paste, water and brown sugar into sausage; simmer 15 minutes. In medium bowl, combine remaining sausage, Ricotta, 2 cups Mozzarella, egg and parsley. In 13x9x2 inch baking dish, pour 1/3 spaghetti sauce mixture. Stuff manicotti noodles with Ricotta mixture and place on top of the sauce. Pour remaining sauce over filled noodles, top with remaining Mozzarella and sprinkle with Parmesan. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Makes 6-8 servings.
CHEESE MEATBALL SOUP
MEATBALLS 1 lb. hamburger 1/4 c. bread crumbs 1 egg 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
Mix and shape into small balls. Mix in large pot: 2 c. water 1 c. whole grain corn 2 beef bouillon cubes 1/2 tsp. Tabasco 1 c. potatoes, chopped 1 c. celery, chopped 1/2 c. carrots, sliced 1/2 c. onion, chopped 1 (16 oz.) jar Cheez Whiz (add after soup is cooked)
Mix all ingredients including meatballs. Stir gently. Bring to boil, cover and simmer on low until vegetables are done, about 2 hours. Before serving, add Cheez Whiz and stir gently. May also cook in crockpot on low for 8 to 10 hours.
------------------------ HAMBURGER VEGGIE SOUP
1 lb. hamburger, browned 1 can tomato soup 1 can vegetable soup 1 can bean and bacon soup 3 med. potatoes, cubed 5 carrots, diced 1 onion, chopped
Cook potatoes, carrots, and onion until tender. Add hamburger, soups and water as desired. Add pepper to taste. Heat through and serve.

NACHOS DIP IN BREAD
1 (15 oz.) loaf round sour dough 1 (15 oz.) can refried beans or 1/2 lb. hamburger Taco seasoning for meat 1/2 sm. bottle taco sauce 1 c. grated cheese (any kind) 1 sm. carton sour cream 1 avocado dip (dairy case) 1 sm. can olives
Slice top off bread. Scoop out most of inside. Layer into bread loaf: beans/hamburger, taco sauce and cheese. Replace top of bread. Wrap in foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Unwrap to check if cheese is melted if not return to oven without lid of bread. After it is cooked layer guacamole, sour cream and olives. Serve with remaining bread crumbs (toasted) and tortilla chips.
------------------------ TACO DIP
1 lb. hamburger 1 pkg. taco seasoning 1 can refried beans 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream Hot taco sauce to taste 1 can sliced or chopped black olives 1/4 - 1/2 lb. cheddar cheese, grated 1/4 - 1/2 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, grated
Brown the hamburger; drain and add the taco seasoning. Spread the mix in the bottom of a 9" square baking dish. Layer the remaining ingredients in order given on top of hamburger. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until heated through. Serve with crisp tortilla chips.
HOT BEAN DIP
1 lb. lean hamburger meat 1 c. Mexican style med. hot piquant sauce 1 c. shredded Longhorn or Cheddar cheese 1 med. can refried beans
Brown and drain hamburger. Put meat in 1 quart oven proof dish. Blend together remaining ingredients. Microwave 2 minutes until cheese melts. Stir and do again for 2 minutes. Serve hot.
------------------------ HAMBURG ROLLS
1 lb. hamburger 1 pkg. Lipton Beef Mushroom Soup (dry) 1 can water chestnuts, chopped 4 pkg. crescent rolls
Combine hamburger, soup and water chestnuts. Cut each triangle of rolls in half. Place small amount of meat in center of dough and bring corners together to cover meat. Bake at 425 degrees for 17 minutes. May be prepared in advance, frozen and then baked 20 to 25 minutes.
------------------------ SUPER NACHOS
1 lb. Portuguese sausage, chopped into sm. pieces 3/4 lb. hamburger 1 med. onion, diced 1 (10 oz.) can refried beans 2-3 c. shredded Cheddar cheese Taco sauce, hot 1/2 can green chilies Nacho chips
Saute sausage and remove oil, brown hamburger and onion. spread refried beans on nachos top with meat mixture; sprinkle with chopped chilies, cover with cheese and drizzle with taco sauce. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Garnish: Parsley, chopped olives, a mound of guacamole or sour cream in middle of nachos.

HOMEMADE CHILI
3 cans light red kidney beans 3 cans whole tomatoes 1 lb. hamburger meat 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped 1 sm. onion, chopped 2 tbsp. sugar 2 tbsp. chili powder Salt, pepper & garlic powder to taste
Brown hamburger and drain. In a large pot, put in remaining ingredients including meat. Simmer on low to medium heat for about 1 hour. Serve over rice.
------------------------ MEXICAN FIESTA
1 lb. hamburger meat 1 pkg. taco mix 1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes 1 can Nacho cheese soup 1/2 c. milk 1 lg. pkg. yellow rice
Brown hamburger meat and drain. Add taco mix and tomatoes. Heat soup and 1/2 cup milk. Cook yellow rice by directions on package. Layer rice, meat and cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Can be served with Nacho chips, lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream, if desired.
CHILI
1 lb. hamburger 1 (16 oz.) can Mexican chili beans 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes 1 tbsp. brown sugar 1 tsp. chili powder (or to taste) Salt and pepper to taste 1 sm. onion, chopped
Brown hamburger and onion. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add beans, tomatoes, brown sugar and chili powder. Let simmer slowly for about 15 minutes. For additional flavor or body, tomato juice, water or a small amount of Picante sauce may be added. NOTE: Good chili for making with limited time.
------------------------ CINCINNATI CHILI
1 qt. water 2 lbs. lean hamburger 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. cumin seed or ground cumin 2 lg. onions, chopped 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 toe garlic, crushed 2 tbsp. chili powder 1 tsp. black pepper 1/2 tsp. red pepper or chili pepper 1 tbsp. salt 1 1/2 tsp. ground allspice 1 (16 oz.) can tomato paste 1 1/2 tbsp. cider vinegar 3 lg. whole bay leaves
Crumble raw (do not brown) hamburger into water. Add all ingredients. Bring to boil, then simmer for 3 hours. Remove garlic toe and bay leaves. Add whole red peppers (if desired) for spicier taste. Servings: 10 to 12.

MEXICAN CHEF SALAD
1 head lettuce 4 tomatoes, chopped 1 can black olives, chopped 1 onion, chopped 1 green pepper, chopped 1 1/2 lbs. hamburger, cooked, drained & cooled 1 can kidney beans, drained 1 can garbanzo beans, drained 8 oz. grated cheese 1 bag tortilla chips, crushed
Mix all above ingredients except chips together. Add chips last. Pour dressing over salad.
DRESSING 2 c. mayonnaise 12 oz. (or less) green taco sauce, mild 1 tsp. lemon juice 1 tsp. vinegar
Mix ingredients together and pour over salad.
TACO SOUP
2 lb. hamburger Onion 1 pkg. taco seasoning 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 1/2 c. water 1 (7 oz.) can green chilies 1 pkg. ranch style dressing mix 1 can hominy, drained 2 cans stewed tomatoes 1 can Rotel tomatoes 2 cans pinto beans 1 can jalapeno pinto beans
Brown hamburger; add all other ingredients and simmer 25 - 30 minutes. Top with grated cheese if desired.
============ CROCK POT CHILI SOUP
1 lb. hamburger meat 1 onion, chopped 2 cans Rotel tomatoes 2 cans Ranch Style beans 2 cans minestrone soup 1 tbsp. chili powder
Cook 4 hours and serve.
BEEFY MEXICAN SOUP
1 lb. hamburger 1 med. onion, chopped, about 1/2 c. 1/4 c. chopped green pepper 1 pkg. Hamburger-Helper for chili tomatoes 6 c. water 1 tsp. chili powder 1/2 tsp. garlic salt 1/4 tsp. salt 1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes 1 (8 oz.) can whole kernel corn 1 can pitted ripe olives
Cook and stir hamburger, onion and green pepper in large pot until beef is brown. Drain, stir in sauce -- mix from hamburger helper, water, chili powder, garlic salt, salt, tomatoes with liquid; break tomatoes up with fork. Heat to boiling, stirring often. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in macaroni and corn with liquid and olives. Cover and cook 10 more minutes.

KENNEDY STEW
5-7 potatoes, sliced small (not thin), uncooked 1 lb. hamburger 1 can peas with juice 4 carrots, uncooked 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can cream of celery 1 sm. onion 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. pepper
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Brown hamburger and onions. In a 1 1/2-quart oven-proof dish add all ingredients and mix well. Put in oven 1 hour 15 minutes.
BEEF AND RICE CASSEROLE
1 lb. hamburger, browned & drained 1 sm. onion, sliced very thin 1/2 c. celery, sliced 1 tsp. soy sauce 1/8 tsp. oregano 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 c. rice, cooked Toasted slivered almonds (optional)
Combine cooked beef and all other ingredients except rice and almonds in cooker. Cook on High for 3 hours. Add rice and serve with toasted almonds (optional). Yields: 6 servings.
EASY CROCK POT SPAGHETTI SAUCE
1 lb. hamburger 1/2 c. chopped onion 1/2 c. chopped bell pepper 1 c. chopped celery 1 clove minced garlic 1 tsp. Italian herb seasoning 1 can stewed tomatoes 1 can tomato paste 1 lg. can tomato sauce 1 lg. can water 1 pkg. spaghetti sauce seasoning
Brown hamburger with onion, bell pepper and garlic. Drain well and put into crockpot with all other ingredients. Have crockpot on high until sauce comes to a boil and then turn it to low and simmer for 6 hours. Serve hot over favorite noodles (our family likes egg noodles) and goes well with the garlic bread, and a fresh salad. Chopped bell pepper and celery can be kept in the freezer until ready to use. Be sure to rinse well before adding to any recipe to remove freezer taste.
------------------------ HAMBURGER CROCK POT SOUP
1 lb. hamburger 1 lg. can tomato juice 1 c. chopped onion 1 c. chopped celery 1 c. noodles or rice Season with salt and pepper as desired
Tear hamburger in small pieces, place in bottom of crock pot. Add tomato juice, and turn crock pot to low; simmer. One hour later, add vegetables and let simmer 4-6 hours. Before serving, add rice or noodles, Turn crock pot, setting to high and cook additional 1/2 hour. Reduce heat and eat.

CROCKPOT ITALIAN VEGETABLE SOUP
1 can corn 1 can Italian zucchini squash 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 2-3 diced potatoes 1-2 lbs. hamburger 2 tbsp. oregano leaves A pinch basil leaves Couple shakes garlic salt 3 bay leaves
Brown hamburger. Drain well. Add all ingredients in crock pot. Cook on low 6- 8 hours. Recipe doubles nicely for family serving.
------------------------ CROCK POT BEANS
2 cans pork 'n beans 1 can lima beans, drained 1 can kidney beans, drained 1 lb. hamburger meat 3/4 lb. bacon, chopped into pieces 1 onion, chopped 1 c. catsup 1/4 c. brown sugar 3 tbsp. white vinegar 3 tbsp. liquid smoke 1/2 tsp. each of salt & pepper
Brown together and drain hamburger, bacon and onion. Mix all and cook low 4 to 6 hours in crock pot.
CROCK POT HAMBURGER DISH
4 lg. potatoes, sliced 1 can or pkg. green peas 3 lg. carrots, sliced 3 onions, sliced 2 stalks celery, chopped 1 1/2 lbs. hamburger, lightly browned 1 can tomato soup 1 soup can water Salt & pepper to taste
Place vegetables in crock pot. Season with salt and pepper. Put browned hamburger on top and cover with soup and water. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 2 to 3 hours. If possible, stir once or twice while cooking. Serves 4 to 5.
------------------------ CROCK POT ENCHILADAS
1 lb. hamburger 1 onion, chopped 1 sm. can chilies 1 sm. can mild enchilada sauce 1 can golden mushroom soup, undiluted 1 can cheddar cheese soup, undiluted 1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted 1 can cream of celery soup, undiluted 1 lg. pkg. Dorito chips
Brown hamburger and chopped onion, pour off grease. Put all ingredients in crock pot except Dorito chips. Mix and cook low 4 to 6 hours. Last 15 minutes before you are ready to eat, add Dorito chips and stir.
CROCK STEW
1 lb. hamburger, browned 1 can tomato soup 1 can vegetable beef soup 1 1/2 c. water 2 stalks celery, chopped 3 carrots, thinly sliced 5 med. potatoes, peeled & chunked or sliced 1/2 lg. onion, diced 1/2 tsp. chili powder Salt to taste Dash of garlic powder & pepper
Combine all ingredients in crock pot. Cook until vegetables are tender, (usually 6 hours). Can be cooked on stove top. Cooking time will be considerably shorter.
------------------------ CROCK POT MEAT LOAF
3 lbs. ground turkey or chicken 1 lb. ground hamburger 1 c. instant rice 1/4 c. A-1 2 whole eggs 1/4 c. flour, bread crumbs or crushed crackers or chips Salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder to taste
Combine all ingredients. Form into ball. Wrap well in foil. Poke small holes in bottom side of ball. Place in crock pot on canning lids or something that will keep the meat above any drippings. Cook on low 8 hours.

CROCK POT LASAGNA
1 pkg. pepperoni slices 1 lb. hamburger 1 onion, diced 1 green pepper, diced 1 can mushrooms 1 pkg. kluski noodles 1 lg. jar pizza sauce 1 lg. jar spaghetti sauce 1 pkg. each shredded Colby & Mozzarella cheese
Cook together hamburger, onion, green pepper and mushrooms. Layer this with the rest of the ingredients in the crock pot. Cook on high for 2 to 3 hours.
------------------------ CROCK - POT SLOPPY JOES
3 lbs. hamburger 1-2 onions, finely chopped 1 green pepper, chopped 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce 1 c. water 2 pkgs. Sloppy Joe seasoning mix 2 tbsp. brown sugar
Brown hamburger in skillet. Drain. Put into crockpot. Add onions, green pepper, tomato sauce, water, seasoning mix and sugar. Stir thoroughly. Cover. Cook on low for 8-10 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours.
CROCK POT TOSTADOS
2 lbs. hamburger, sauteed & drained 2 cans brown beans, drained 1 can Rotel tomatoes 1 lb. Velveeta, cubed 1 lb. brick chili (no beans) 1/2 pt. whipping cream
Put everything (but cream) in crock pot. Simmer 8 hours. Just before serving add cream; mix well. Serve over Doritos topped with lettuce, tomatoes etc. and grated cheese.
------------------------ CROCK POT MEXICAN DINNER
1/2 lb. hamburger, browned Add 1 sm. can green chilies, chopped 1 can taco sauce 1 can enchilada sauce, mild 2 cans mushroom soup
Heat all; pour layers of mixture 1 layer of cheese flavored Doritos. Sprinkle with sharp grated cheese. Alternate layers meat sauce last layer.

CROCK POT RAVIOLI CASSEROLE
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach 1 (8 oz.) pkg. twisty noodles 1 lb. hamburger 1/2 lb. milk Italian sausage 1 onion, finely chopped 2 tbsp. oil 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. oregano 1/2 c. Parmesan 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Monterey Jack cheese 3 green onions, chopped
Defrost spinach. Squeeze dry. Cook noodles in boiling, salted water until tender. Drain. Brown meats and onion in oil until crumbly. Add tomato sauce, salt and oregano. Cover. Simmer 30 minutes. Mix in spinach. Turn crock pot on high after buttering bottom and sides. Spoon half the noodles into the buttered crock pot. Top with half of meat mixture and half the Parmesan cheese. Cover with layers of remaining noodles, meat and Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle with Jack cheese and green onions. Cook on high for one hour. Serves 8.

1 lb. hamburger 1/3 c. ketchup 1 tbsp. mustard 1 can tomato soup 1/3 c. brown sugar Onion
Brown hamburger with onion. Then add ketchup, mustard, soup, and brown sugar. Simmer for 5 minutes.
STUFF PEPPERS
1 lb. hamburger 1 egg 1/2 c. minute rice Salt to taste Pepper to taste 2 tbsp. Italian salad dressing (Wishbone) 1 tsp. garlic powder 1 big can tomato sauce 4 med. green peppers
Mix hamburger, eggs, garlic, salt, pepper, rice and Italian dressing. Clean peppers whole or cut in half. Stuff mixture in peppers. Put in microwave dish. Mix tomato sauce, 2 tablespoons of Italian dressing and 1 tablespoon garlic. Pour over peppers. Cover. Cook in microwave on high for 30 minutes.
HOT DOG SAUCE
1 lb. hamburger 1 1/2 c. water 1 can tomato paste 1 onion, cut fine 3/4 tbsp. chili powder 1 1/2 tbsp. salt
Cook hamburger; drain. Mix hamburger with all ingredients and simmer for 45 minutes. Hamburger should be very fine.
------------------------ HAMBURGER DRESSING
2 (1 1/2 lb.) loaves bread (diced) 2 lbs. hamburger, lightly browned and lightly seasoned 1 pkg. dry onion soup 1 or 2 cans chicken or beef broth (optional) 2 to 3 c. celery, cut fine 1 lg. onion, chopped 3 eggs (optional) 1 tsp. sage 1 tsp. poultry seasoning 1 tsp. thyme 1 tsp. salt 3/4 tsp. pepper
Lightly brown meat and season lightly. Add package dried onion soup and 3 cups water. Add celery, onion and cover. Simmer until tender. Cool. Pour 3-4 cups cold water over dried bread. Add eggs and seasonings. Mix well. Add cooled hamburger mixture, mix well. Mixture should be very moist. If too dry, add broth. Bake at 325 degrees for 1- 1 1/2 hours.

HAMBURGER, CHEESE AND NOODLES
1 1/2 lbs. ground hamburger 1/2 c. onion 1 can Campbell's Cheddar cheese soup 1 can Campbell's tomato soup Cheese 1 bag med. egg noodles
In a large skillet cook hamburger and onions. Mix both cans of soup in the hamburger. Boil egg noodles until done. Drain. Place in a 9 x 13 inch pan. Mix hamburger in with noodles. Place cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees until cheese is melted and casserole is hot.
------------------------ MOZART MOZZARELLA
2 lb. hamburger 1 onion, chopped 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 sm. can mushrooms 8 oz. carton sour cream 1 1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese 1 (8 oz.) tube crescent rolls Oregano Basil
Brown hamburger and onion. Drain. Mix with tomato sauce and mushrooms. Spread in bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan or casserole. Spread cheeses over top. Lay rolls out and spread with sour cream. Sprinkle with oregano and basil. Roll and place on top of cheeses. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until rolls are brown and done.
CAJUN HAMBURGERS
2 lbs. ground beef 1 green pepper, cored, seeded & minced 1/2 c. chopped scallions (green onions) 3 cloves garlic, minced 2 tsp. ground cumin 2 tsp. dried oregano 1 tsp. dried thyme 1 tsp. paprika Red pepper flakes to taste Salt to taste 6 hamburger buns, toasted
Combine the beef, green pepper, scallions, and garlic in mixing bowl. Add the cumin, oregano, thyme, paprika and red pepper flakes and salt to taste and mix until blended. Shape the meat into 6 patties. Broil, fry on or grill the meat to desired doneness. Place hamburgers on toasted buns and top with sliced tomatoes and sour cream or your favorite topping.

1 1/2 lb. hamburger 1 c. tomato soup 3/4 c. chopped green pepper 1 can kidney beans 3/4 lb. cubed Mexican Velveeta cheese 10 tortillas
Brown and drain hamburger. Add soup and peppers. Simmer 5 minutes. Add beans and 1/2 pound cheese. Heat until cheese melts. Fill and roll tortillas. Place in greased 9x13 pan. Pour remaining sauce over tortillas. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Top with remaining cheese and bake 5 minutes longer. Serve with lettuce, tomato, sour cream etc.
WHITE ENCHILADAS
1 lb. hamburger 1 onion 2 c. grated Colby cheese 8 oz. jar taco sauce 1 tsp. salt 1 pkg. sm. tortilla shells
Brown beef, onion and salt. Put spoonful of meat, taco sauce and cheese in salt, roll. Place in a 9x13 inch pan. In sauce pan over medium heat, melt 4 tablespoons butter, stir in 4 tablespoons flour and 2 tablespoons chicken bouillon. Stir until thick and bubbly. Gradually add 1 1/2 cups water and stir until thick and bubbly. Add a can of green chilies. Pour 1/2 of gravy in 2/3 cup sour cream. Mix, pour sour cream mixture back onto gravy. Pour over enchiladas. Sprinkle remaining cheese over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
------------------------ CHEESEBURGER PIE
3/4 lb. hamburger 1/2 onion, chopped 1 1/2 slices bread, cubed 1/2 c. Ragu sauce Salt, pepper and oregano
Saute beef and onions in butter. Add Ragu, bread and seasonings. Pour into 9" unbaked pie shell. Beat one egg, add 1/2 cup milk, 1 cup grated cheddar cheese. Spread over beef mixture. Bake 1/2 hour at 350 degrees.
SHEPHERD'S PIE
1 onion 2 tbsp. butter or margarine 1 lb. hamburger 1/2 lb. green beans (1 pkg. French style) 1 can tomato soup or sauce Salt, pepper, oregano, thyme 5 potatoes, boiled 1/2 c. milk 1 egg, beaten
Brown onions in butter; add hamburger and continue browning. Drain; add tomato soup, and salt, pepper, oregano, and thyme, to taste. Place in greased 2 or 2 1/2 quart casserole. Partially cook green beans, and layer beans on top of meat in casserole. Mash potatoes and mix with milk and egg. Layer mashed potatoes on top of beans. Bake in 350 degree oven until top is brown and sides bubbling, approximately 30 minutes. Yummy!
------------------------ STUFFED PEPPERS
6 oz. box Uncle Ben's long grain & wild rice 5 med. green peppers 1 1/2 lb. hamburger 1/2 c. chopped onion Chopped pepper tops 1 can tomato soup 6 oz. can tomato paste 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce Generous dash of pepper Pinch of parsley 5 slices American cheese Paprika
Remove tops and seeds from peppers. Cook peppers in boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain and cool. Brown hamburger, onion and pepper tops. Add soup, paste, cooked rice and seasoning. Stuff peppers. Arrange in a 1 1/2 quart casserole. Place strips of cheese on the tops. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake covered for 30 minutes at 375 degrees. Freeze remaining filling.

CRESCENT HAMBURGER BAKE
2 pkgs. crescent rolls 1 1/2 lb. hamburger Salt and pepper to taste 1 med. onion 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste 1 pkg. Sloppy Joe mix 1 1/4 c. hot water 1 (4 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese 1 (4 oz.) pkg. cheddar cheese
Brown hamburger and onion. Add salt and pepper. Add tomato paste, Sloppy Joe mix, and hot water. Simmer a few minutes and set aside. Place 1 package rolls flat in bottom of 9x13 pan. Cover with hamburger mixture. Top with cheeses. Place second package of rolls on top of cheese; bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
------------------------ HAMBURGER STROGANOFF
1 lb. hamburger, browned and drained 1 med. onion, diced 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can milk 1 can mushrooms, drained 1 tbsp. soy sauce 1 (8 oz.) sour cream
Brown together hamburger and onion. Add rest of ingredients. Heat until bubbly. Serve over 3/4 package cooked and drained egg noodles.
TATOR TOT HOTDISH
1 lb. hamburger 1 lb. pork sausage 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 pkg. frozen vegetables 1 (2 lb.) bag Tator Tots 2 c. milk
Brown hamburger and sausage. Mix in 2 cans of soup and milk. Cook vegetables until done and mix with hamburger mixture. Put in 9x13 pan. Arrange Tator Tots on top and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
------------------------ SAUERKRAUT HOTDISH
1 pkg. wide egg noodles 2 lbs. hamburger 1 whole onion 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 can cream of celery soup 1 can of milk 1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut (1 qt.) 1 c. grated cheddar cheese
Boil egg noodles 3 minutes. Brown hamburger and onion; drain. Warm soups and milk. In 9x13 pan layer 1/2 hamburger and onion, sauerkraut, 1/2 hamburger and onions, noodles, soups and milk. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Top with cheddar cheese. Bake another 30 minutes.
HOT TAMALE PIE
Corn muffin mix 1 lb. hamburger 1 pkg. chilie mix 1 onion 2 cloves garlic 1 can pitted black olives 1 can whole kernel corn 1 can tomato sauce
Mix chilie mix, tomato sauce and one can of water to browned hamburger, onion and garlic. Simmer for 1 hour. Pour mixture over thin layer of corn muffin batter. Add layers of corn and olives. Add spoonfuls of corn muffin batter on top. Bake until brown.
------------------------ TACO BAKE
1 c. Bisquick or Jiffy mix 1 can refried beans 1/4 c. water 1 lb. hamburger 1 med. onion 1 jar thick taco sauce 2 c. grated Cheddar Lettuce, shredded Tomatoes, diced Sour cream
Mix Bisquick, refried beans and water. Pat into bottom of large baking dish. Brown hamburger and add chopped onion. Drain. Spread on top of crust tin baking dish. Then layer taco sauce and 1 cup cheese. Bake at 350 degrees until done (when you can lift the side up and it doesn't not stick or fall apart.) Let cool a little and then top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, grated cheese and sour cream.

SALISBURY STEAK
1 lb. hamburger 1 egg, beaten 1/2 c. cereal crumbs 2 tbsp. catsup 2 tbsp. water 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/4 tsp. chopped onion 1/2 tsp. salt Pepper to taste 1 can mushroom soup
Mix all ingredients in order except soup. Form into large patties and roll lightly in flour. Brown both sides in butter. Pour soup with one can water over meat patties and simmer covered for 45 minutes.
------------------------ HAMBURGER CHOW MEIN
3/4 lb. hamburger 1/2 c. chopped onion 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 tbsp. soy sauce 1 can tomato soup 1/2 c. water 1 can chow mein vegetables
Cook meat and onions until brown. Add salt, pepper, soy sauce, soup and water. Cook for 10 minutes over medium heat. Add chow mein vegetables, heat thoroughly. Serve over chow mein noodles and rice. Serves 4 to 6.
GOULASH
1/2 lb. hamburger Onion chips or sauteed onion* 1 c. macaroni 1 pt. tomatoes Salt & pepper to taste Velveeta cheese
*Do not saute onion chips; add while simmering. Brown hamburger. Add minced onion, tomatoes, salt, pepper and macaroni. Simmer 40 minutes. Lay slices of Velveeta cheese on top before serving.
------------------------ HAMBURGER SAUERKRAUT
Sm. chopped onion 1 lb. hamburger 1/2 c. uncooked rice 1 sm. can sauerkraut 1 can water 3 tbsp. shortening 1 tbsp. flour Pepper to taste
Mix meat, rice and chopped onion and pepper into balls. Place in pan. Cover with sauerkraut and water. Simmer about 1 1/2 hours. Make roux - heat shortening, add flour and cook until brown. Mix with meat balls and kraut. Cook a short while longer (5 to 8 minutes) being careful not to burn. Serve with boiled potatoes.
