Hi...I new here and I would first like to say hello to all. I am trying to find a basic recipe for microwave jams. Can anyone help?? I would be so thankful as I have looked everywhere for it. Thank you so Much!! Bett

Strawberry Jam 4-10 oz pkgs frozen strawberries, defrosted 5 cups sugar 2 T. lemon juice 1-3 oz pouch Certo fruit pectin
In 4 qt glass bowl, combine strawberries and sugar. Add lemon juice. Cover with wax paper. Microwave about 15 minutes or until it boils, stirring several times. Boil for 1 minute. Stir in Certo fruit pectin. With a metal spoon, skim off any foam. Stir and skim for 5 minutes. Ladle into hot sterilized jars. Seal with paraffin. Makes about 8 cups.
Variation: Raspberry Jam. Use 4-10 oz pkgs frozen raspberries and omit lemon juice. Follow above directions.
Rhubarb-Pineapple Jam
5 C. diced rhubarb 3 C. sugar 1 C. crushed pineapple 1-3 oz package strawberry jello
In 4 quart glass bowl, combine rhubarb, sugar and pineapple and microwave about 20 minutes, or until boiling, stirring several times. Let boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in jello until dissolved. Ladle into sterilized glasses or freezer containers. Seal. Makes about 6 cups.
Grape Jelly
1-6 oz can frozen grape juice, defrosted 1-3/4 oz package pwdr fruit pectin 2 cups hot water 3-3/4 cups sugar
In a 4 qt glass bowl, combine grape juice, pectin and water. cover with wax paper. Microwave 7-9 minutes or until boiling, stirring once. Add sugar and mix well. Cover with wax paper. Microwave 5-7 minutes or until a full rolling boil, stirring once. Boil hard 1 minute. With a metal spoon, stir and skim. Ladle into hot sterilized jars. Seal with paraffin. Makes about 4 cups.
