Melt margarine in skillet or wok. Add garlic powder. Stir well. Add remaining ingredients and toss together. Serve warm. Makes 2 quarts.
HINT: Vary the cereals choosing which are salt free. Walnuts, pecans or a mixture of nuts may be used in place of peanuts. One cup raisins may also be added, but if you add raisins, omit the garlic powder.
Variation: 1 tsp. Italian seasoning 1/2 tsp. onion powder 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1/8 tsp. liquid red pepper sauce 1/2 cup margarine Cook seasonings 2 minutes in the margarine. Add cereal and peanut ingredients from the above recipe.
