To Sharon TN Don't give up.
Time heals but you never forget. I was in a similar situation . First, in 1963 my Dad died from a ruptured aorta (by the way my best friend) the day before his 63 rd birthday had never been sick. and while I was on vacation in Florida with my late husband he dropped dead the day before his 56 birthday (Feb 22 1986) also never sick. (Also my best friend). They had to fly me home emergency alone. I thought my world was at an end, but I don't know what it is but God gives you an inner strength (I am not a religious person, but I do believe). What helped me after my husband died was I took up a hobby of crafts (decopage etc.) and you meet people with the same hobby. It is surprising how it helps, the next thing you know you invite them to your home and have an evening all doing there own thing. In the meantime I met a gentleman 2 years later and we got married and I am very happy (19 yrs married), but he is ill now with cancer and I am taking care of him the best I can. He is 79 and I am 80. But like I said before time heals but you never forget. Good luck Peggy from Belleville Ontario Canada.
