SmokeHouse Almonds
1/2 tsp. liquid smoke 2 tsp. water 1 cup raw almonds 1 tbs. oil 4 - 5 tbs. organic sea salt
Directions:
These SmokeHouse Almonds are a great crunchy snack and very similar to Blue Diamond Brand Almonds, but without all the preservatives!
Mix water and liquid smoke together in sealable container. Add almonds and shake well. Marinate overnight, shaking or turing the container occasionally if possible.
Drain almonds and place in a shallow pan so that there is one even layer and the almonds are not all piled on top of one another. Roast almonds in 300F oven for approx. 40 minutes, stirring occasionally until golden brown.
Remove almonds from over, sprinkle with salt and stir to coat thoroughly. Leave almonds out overnight to continue drying process and store in a sealed container.
