Pecan Crust
1/2 cup pecans finely ground 3/4 cup flour 4 tablespoons butter cut in cubes 1 egg yolk
Mix together nuts and flour. Work in butter with a pastry blender. Add egg yolk and stir until mixed well. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly butter a 9 inch pie plate or tart pan. Place dough in middle of pan. Press dough over bottom and up sides to form a crust. Prick dough in several spots with a fork. Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Let cool before filling.
