1/2 cup wheat germ 1/2 cup dry milk 1 Tbs. honey 3-1/2 oz. canned or cooked mackerel, mashed and boned milk (optional)
Combine wheat germ and dry milk, then drizzle honey on top of the mixture. Stir in mackerel, forming the mixture into small balls. Add a little milk if necessary to get the mixture to the right texture.
Place balls on a greased cookie sheet and flatten with a fork. Bake at 350 degrees for eight to 10 minutes. The cookies should be chewy, like fudge. Place in a sealed jar and store in the refrigerator.
