Swanson® Easy Risotto-Style Rice
Swanson® Broth produces creamy and flavorful rice — the key to successful risotto is adding liquid gradually until absorbed and stirring often.
Prep/Cook: 25 min
1 cup uncooked regular long-grain white rice 1 clove garlic, minced 3 to 4 cups Swanson® Chicken Broth Generous dash pepper 1 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
COOK and stir rice and garlic in nonstick saucepan 2 min. Add 1/2 cup broth and cook until broth is absorbed.
ADD remaining broth, 1/2 cup at a time, stirring until broth is absorbed before adding more broth. Cook until rice is done and creamy. Add pepper and cheese. Serve immediately.
Makes 6 servings
