Homemade Spaghetti Sauce
1 pound ground hamburger (lean) 2 (15 oz) cans tomato sauce 3/4 cup water 3 tablespoons sliced mushrooms (or 1 small can) 2 1/2 tablespoons minced onion flakes (or onion powder) 2 teaspoons brown sugar 1 teaspoon oregano 3/4 teaspoon basil 3/4 teaspoon garlic salt 1/4 teaspoon marjoram
Sauté hamburger in skillet; drain fat. Add remaining ingredients, heat to boiling. Simmer 10 minutes. Stirring occasionally. Serve over hot cooked spaghetti, topped with grated parmesan cheese, if desired. 6 to 8 servings
