Lasagna in a Bun
8 sub or hoagie buns (8 inches) 1 pound ground beef 1 cup spaghetti sauce 1 TBS garlic powder 1 TBS dried Italian seasoning 1 cup ricotta cheese ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
Cut thin slices off tops of bune. Hollow out center, leaving 1/4 inch thick shells. Save tops and centers for another use if desired. In skillet brown ground beef, drain, add spaghetti sauce, garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Cook 4 to 5 minutes or until heated through. Meanwhile combine ricotta cheese, Parmesan and half of cheddar and mozzarella cheeses. Mix well. Spoon meat sauce into buns; top with cheese mixture. Place on baking sheet. Cover loosely with foil and bake at 350*F for 20 to 25 minutes. Uncover; sprinkle with remaining cheeses. Return to oven for 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serves 8
