Can you buy golden syrup in the states? Or do you have an alternative to it? It's not as dark as molasses or treacle. Thanks and have a great day

Hi Homemade!
By Golden Syrup do you mean our pancake syrup?? That would be my guess, other than Karo syrup - light.
Hope this helps!!!!

A closer taste match to Golden Syrup is Sorghum Syrup, which is a little stronger than Karo Dark, which I find to be colser than the Karo Light. It's a southern specialty, not available everywhere, but if you are lucky enough to go to Mississippi, Alabama, or Georgia, you might just find some.
