I made Jelly last night and only 1 out of 6 jars sealed. Been trying to find out if I can just reheat the jelly and jars and start with new lids.... I don't understand what I'm reading.... seems you have to add new sugar and pectin??? Please help! Time's running out!!! thank you Judi

This has happened to me in the past. You will be ok, if you re-heat the jelly to a boil, and then put it back in the jars, (after washing and sterilizing again) and with new lids. I can see no need to add more sugar and pectin if the jelly jelled alright the first time. Just make sure everything is hot, jelly, jars and lids....

I experienced the same with my currant jelly last summer. I cheated and used powder gelatin. I followed the instruction on the package and used about 5 teaspoon pr. liter jelley. It worked, but if the jar of jelly stands to long in room temerature it melts, but just put it in a cool place and it is jelley once more after some houers.
