I am looking for the five (or seven?) bean recipe that came in the original Rival crockpot recipe book. It had ground beef, bacon, canned beans, and liquid smoke. I have seen many variations, but that original is the best and I have lost it. Can anyone help?

Here is a recipe I found in the Rival CROCK-POT booklet.
"One Pot" Dinner (Makes a big hit...especially with the men)
1/2 to 1 pound ground beef 3/4 pound bacon, cut into small pieces 1 cup chopped onion 2 cans (1-pound, 15 ounce size) pork and beans 1 can (1 pound) kidney beans, drained 1 can (1 pound) butter limas, drained 1 cup ketchup 1/4 cup brown sugar 1 Tablespoon liquid smoke 3 Tablespoons white vinegar 1 teaspoon salt Dash of pepper
Brown ground beef in skillet; drain off fat and put beef in CROCK-POT. Brown bacon and onions; drain off fat. Add bacon, onions and remaining ingredients to CROCK-POT. Stir together well. Cover and cook on low 4 to 9 hours. If using the 2 quart CROCK-POT, reduce this recipe by half.
I enjoy searching the internet to find untold treasures to share with others.
