2 c. flour 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda White vinegar
First blend flour and water to make a thick paste. Add other ingredients; stir until well mixed with vinegar, so batter will be thick enough to cling to fish pieces. Dip fish in the batter drop into deep hot fat - fry until brown. Use deep pan or fryer so fat won't foam over sides. This is enough batter for about 1 1/2 to 2 pounds of fish.
