This is for Sharon who is on Atkins but confused re. Carbs and a list to go by. I have recently done the South Beach diet and the first 2 weeks of this diet are very much like Atkins. This book is called "The South Beach Diet" by Dr. Agatson and he is a cardiologist who has put extensive lists and menus, as well as recipes in his book. Get the book from the library and copy them, or just go online and see if you can get some of the lists that way. It tells you in detail which foods to avoid and which to eat.
