What does it mean when it says "not TNT" or "TNT" ?

I have heard that TNT means the recipe has been tried before and is good, but for my generation TNT meant dynamite(as in blow something up!). Then there was that TV show where the kid said DY-NO-MIGHT when something was good or cool. So....maybe the recipe has been tried and is so good it blows your mind and you tell the world by saying a catchy word, LOL
