TRUKEY TIP to keep turkey from sticking the the pan, place celery stalks under the turkey before roasting, plus a quartered onion, and a carrot or twp, this also flavors the dripping for a marvelous gravey afterwards!,

Here's my turkey tip - I always cook my turkey in a brown paper bag. You just place the turkey (after it is dressed) inside a paper bag that is larger than the bird and staple the end closed. Cook as normal with no peeking. You don't have to baste it - it comes out beautiful and brown. When done, just cut it open and discard paper. Perfect every time. (I usually cook mine about 1/2 hr per pound.
