Mary in CT in the 3/20/07 newsletter was asking if she could use reconstituted buttermilk powder to make buttermilk fried chicken. Yes!!! I also have made buttermilk (sour) milk by adding either lemon juice or white vinegar to regular milk and letting it sit till thickened. We rarely buy regular buttermilk, because I don't use it much. Guess I need to get some powdered buttermilk to have on hand!
