I made Asian dumplings tonight and they were amazing!
Here is the recipe:
2 lbs. ground meat (I use turkey, but chicken or pork will also work) 3 large green onions, diced 4-6 large garlic cloves, minced (depends how garlicky you like it!) 3 tablespoons frech ginger root, minced 1 egg 3 tablespoons soy sauce 1 tablespoon toasted (or regular) sesame oil 1 package wonton wrappers 2 and 1/3 cups water separated
Mash first 7 ingredients together in a large bowl, making sure to combine evenly.
On a lightly floured cutting board, lay out wonton wrappers. Place a teaspoon full of meat filling in the center of each wrapper. Dip a finger into the remaining 1/3 cup of water and moisten edges of the wrappers. Fold wrappers up into a triangle shape, pressing the edge lightly together.
Gently steam dumplings in a bamboo or metal steamer (spray metal steamer with PAM) for about 10 minutes.
