To save some space on our great newsletter, would someone please tell me what a bundt cake and a bundt tin is?
Thanks in advance.

Sylvia, a bundt cake pan is a little similar to an angel food cake pan (springform pan), but one piece and no hole in the middle part that juts up. Click on this link www.preparedpantry.com/pans-bakeware-tools.aspx?page=5 and it will take you to The Prepared Pantry and a photo of a silicone bundt pan. Now for the cakes; follow this link www.nancys-kitchen.com/favorite-bundt-cake-recipes.htm to recipes for a bundt cake. The most famous one is the tunnel of fudge cake that was popular here in the states back in the 50's - 70's. That's when the bundt pan came out. Hope this answers your questions! Chris

Hi Chris, I'd given up hope of finding out what a Bundt tin was. I have a bundt silicone dish which I use for jellies and aspics, but never knew it was called a bundt. Thank you for the info.
Chris I have been trying to change my year of birth in my profile, but without success. I don't mind being a young looking 62 He he, but I won't be 62 until Sept.14. As a time-served stalwart of the newsletter could you spare the time to advise me how to change 1945 to 1946 that year may come in handy sometime. I also notice that Greek Mama Maria has told us all she is a Male. Whatever makes you happy I guess.
Thanks for all your help.

Sylvia, I am not sure. I just to my profile and looked to see if I could edit the date, but didn't see where I could. I wouldn't worry about it, Nancy and I have the same birthdate since the site went down a couple of days. By the way, our birthdays are different. Perhaps if you private message Nancy, she could answer your question. I do help admin the board, but I have never done this.

As you say it's no big deal - it would be if I was say 80, before I get the Pjs on is there a welcome site for the newcomers? I have had a look but can't find one?
Again thanks for all the help you put into this wonderful newsy newsletter and the assistance you give to hard pushed Nancy.
