Ron managed to find me a box of Betty Crocker Bisquick in our local (6 miles away) Tesco. It is one shop that I can't suffer - don't know why - arrogant staff, customers, or all the extra space taken up with contents ready to pack onto the shelves. He was looking for stem ginger for me, but remembered?? me mentioning Bisquick, so he got that as he couldn't find any stem ginger.
The ginger cakes will just have to wait.
The Bisquick says it is "all purpose baking mix perfect for pancakes, scones and more..." I always thought Betty Crocker products were American, but this has a Republic of Ireland phone number???!!. We only have a few different Crocker mixes, but it seems that there may be many, many difference mixes. The mix has an 11.05.09 SBD so I have plenty of time to search through and look for an easy recipe.

Hi Sylvia, Betty Crocker sends the products world-wide and the web site has several different countries and languages. Makes sense that your box has a Scottish phone number on it! Congratulations and enjoy! Just click on this link and you will see! search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=bettycrocker.com&FORM=MSNHYou will also find tons of recipes right here in this section. Chris

Hi Chris,
Having my box of bisquick is like having money in the bank. There are so many wonderful recipes I can't make my mind up where to start.
Perhaps you could clear up a few little probs for me, Initially thought you were a chap, we very seldom call females here Chris??? Where is Alamogordo, NM? and finally on the left side of the message board is nice and (Exalt / Smite), can you tell me what these mean? Thanks in advance for any info you can give.

Hi Sylvia!
Here in the States, the nickname for Christina - my name - is Chris or Tina. Everyone except my family calls me Chris. My family calls me Tina. My Mother's name was Christina also; so that is why. hehehe Yes I know!
Alamogordo, NM is in the South Central part of NM. We are about 80 miles NE of El Paso, TX. You would think we would be SW but not. Check out your maps. We claim Holloman AFB and the White Sands National Park. Yes, we are HOT most of the late spring and on till about mid Oct.
As to the other question about the "nice" I have no idea! I am sure Nancy does not either! That appeared after our message board was offline due to a fire. It is different, isn't it?
Take care! Christina
