BAKED EGG CASSEROLE
14 slices white bread 2 cups ham -- diced 2 tablespoons onion -- chopped fine 1 teaspoon salt ¼ teaspoon dry mustard 8 eggs 3 cups milk 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded ½ teaspoon pepper
Beat eggs and milk, add salt and pepper. Layer 7 slices of bread on bottom of 9x13 pan. Put ham on top of bread, top with ½ of cheese and ½ of onion. Cover with last 7 slices bread and rest of cheese and onion. Pour egg/milk mixture on and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 325º for 45 minutes or until puffy and light and brown.
