Apple Flapjacks
Preheat oven to 180oC/350oF
8 ozs/1cup/250g Butter 8 ozs/1 and a 1/2 cups/250g Caster sugar (slightly finer and easier to cream than Granulated sugar) 1/3rd Cup/175g golden syrup 4 ozs/1 cup/425g porridge oats 2 eating apples, peeled, cored and chopped 1 tbsp sunflower seeds
Lightly oil and line the base of a square baking tin. Melt the butter, sugar and syrup together in a medium pan, stirring until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from the heat and stir in the oats, apples and seeds. Spread the mixture into the tin and bake for 25- 30 mins until golden.
Cut into desired bars and leave until cool. Then turn out.

Apple Flapjacks are so easy to make and do not have many ingredients. These simple apple flapjacks make a great breakfast. Thanks for this awesome recipe.
