Easy Pepper Steak
1 1/2 lb. boneless beef sirloin steak OR beef top round steaks, 3/4 inch thick – I used 2 cube steaks 2 tbsp. vegetable oil 3 medium green or red peppers, cut into strips (about 4 cups) – I used 1 pkg. frozen pepper and onion stir fry strips 1 large onion, cut into 8 wedges 1 tsp. garlic powder 1 can (14 3/4 ounces) Campbell's® Beef Gravy/I used 2 pkgs. Brown gravy 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 ½ tbl. plus ½ tbl. soy sauce 4 cups hot cooked rice
HEAT half the oil in medium skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef and cook until browned, stirring often. Set beef aside. REDUCE heat to medium. Add remaining oil. Add peppers, onion and garlic powder and cook until tender-crisp. Pour off fat. ADD gravy and Worcestershire. Heat to a boil. Return beef to pan and heat through. Serve over rice. campbellssoup.com
