There has been a lot said on the newsletter recently about bread crusts. This initially suggests overcooking your bread! I always warm my oven to the desired temperature and always have a container of water on the bottom of the oven. I also spray water in the oven just before the bread has finished its final rise and once again as I place the bread in the oven.
Another thing that I would recommend is adding a tablespoonful of oil to your bread mix fluids.
Finally, when I remove bread from the oven or the bread machine, I brush the tops with melted butter.
Don't give up on making your own bread, the answer to any problems will be found by our members.
