I am right in thinking that everyone knows that bacon rashers can be cooked in the microwave in minutes?
If not it is so easy, was discussing it with my son last weekend. Using a microwaveable plate, I use a glass lid from one of my casseroles, lay your rashers on the plate, cover them with kitchen roll paper (stops the microwave getting messy) and blast on full power for 2 - 3 minutes, checking and moving around after each minute. If you want your rashers crispy, mop up any juices with the kitchen roll and use a new sheet to blast again until you have the bacon cooked the way you like. Bacon Rolls in under 5 minutes.
PS of course you can buy a special bacon rack for microwaves.
I want to encourage youngsters (male or female) to get into the kitchen and enjoy cooking. TASTE it!
