Oyster Sauce Beef beef strip loin (8-oz.) 1 ea --- cornstarch 1 Tbsp --- light soy sauce 2 tsp --- hot pepper sauce 2 drops --- canola oil 1 Tbsp --- green onion sliced 6 ea --- water 1/2 cup --- oyster sauce 2 Tbsp ---
Cut the steak into thin strips. In bowl, combine 1 tsp. cornstarch, soy sauce, and hot pepper sauce. Add steak strips, and toss to coat each piece with soy sauce mixture. Marinate for 15 minutes. In nonstick skillet, heat oil over high heat. Stir-fry steak strips for 2 minutes. Add onions; stir-fry for 1 minute. Stir together water, oyster sauce, and remaining cornstarch until smooth. Add to skillet, stirring, for about 1 minute or until thickened.
