[Hi Everyone:) I would love to give/receive support in my weight loss battle;) I had been following WW, but I am "on my own" now. I have established a consistent exercise routine, now I just need to work on my eating. Mainly portion control and planning ahead!! Anyone interested in being my "buddy"? Hope to hear from someone soon! Michelle]

I'm having a terrible time staying on track after the holidays. I've come up with a million excuses but mostly need someone to care whether I do well or not - just be supportive! My heart goes out to each of your working on this quest!! Best of luck to you all!

I care! ! ! Why do you come up with a million excuses? I am guilty as well, of doing the same thing of making excuse. But I found out something I did not like seeing in myself, or put myself through. Making excuse (lying to myself ) Was taking away a positive side and fun side of this diet i am on. It was literally keeping myself living inside a shell, lock in my own hiding place. I am not saying that you are!. But take a look and try to find a realness that is positive for you on this diet and stop making excuses. What are some of the positive sides of this diet for you and fun sides? Think about it ! When you feel the urge to make excuse, be honest with yourself and find happy reasons to stick to your diet. For me I was tiered of the pain, Trouble Breathing Etc. You can even have a blast at being on a diet like throwing yourself a Diet party ( Low Fat, Low Cal Etc.) but play some music fix up some low cal. snack and dance You cant afford weight watchers me ether! So I have been just trying to do this by looking for healthy low coast foods recipes and eating just what is a healthy portion and not what I crave on want. once a week for only one day out of that week when I first stared I let myself eat for that day what I wanted. But the next day I was right back counting my calories exercising and feeling so much better. I will I'll stop rambling I just wanted you to know I care !!! Be Blessed Love and seek the Lord in Jesus Name Smile Be Happy April B.

I was not feeling so positive Friday I bet I opened the refrigerator door and pantry 15 times. It was a gloomy, rainy day, very muddy out. When I went to take our dogs out smelled how clean the air was, I realized that the rain was actually cleaning the pollution away just as I need to do with my fat. So then I came in and started to play with the dogs. I then put on some music and started dancing, by the time my husband came home my spirits were high. I did not cheat on my diet and when I was doing dishes after dinner, my husband came up behind me. He turned me around told me to not speak, then he slowed danced with me to the sweet smooth sounds of Nat King cole. When he was done he kissed me sweetly and told me he loved me The whole point of sharing this is to simply show how I chose to change my mood, and because of that, the rest of that day was a great blessing of a day We Can all do it! Just love yourself enough to keep trying to find positive ways to turn your thoughts and habits around. As in all area's of our lives, though we may not be able to control all that is about, or with us; we all have the ability to choose how anything affects us. Namely, how we perceive life is mostly in our power to change. Making the right choice here is what then can change negative things into positive.
