Twinkie Peanut Butter Logs
4 Twinkies, still wrapped 1/4 c. butter, at room temperature 1/4 c. peanut butter or other nut butter 1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
Freeze the Twinkies for about an hour or until firm.
Combine the butter, peanut butter, maple syrup, and cocoa powder in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high power for 30 seconds, or until warm. Stir to blend well.
Unwrap the semi-frozen Twinkies and slice in half lengthwise. Spoon about 2 T. of the peanut butter mixture into the center of each Twinkie. Reassemble the Twinkies and place on plastic wrap.
Divide the remaining peanut butter mixture evenly on top of the Twinkies and frost the tops and sides. Wrap the Twinkies in the plastic wrap and freeze for 6-8 hours. To serve, cut in the Twinkies in half horizontally. Serve frozen, ideally on chilled or frozen plates.

The recipe says to combine maple syrup with the peanut butter but there is no maple syrup listed in the ingredients. How much is needed?
Thanks
