1 Box Orange Supreme Cake Mix 1 Inst. Coconut Cream Pudding 3/4 cup Vegetable Oil 4 Eggs 1 Bottle Mountain Dew (I use a 16 oz bottle) 1 cup Sugar 3 tablespoons Cornstarch 1 can Crushed Pineapple -- large 1/4 cup Margarine 1 can Angel Flake Coconut
Mix cake mix, pudding and oil. (This recipe specifies Duncan Hines cake mix). Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Add 1 chilled Mountain Dew and mix well.
Bake in 3 greased and floured 9 inch pans for 30 minutes at 325 degrees. Ice while hot.
ICING Mix together sugar and cornstarch. Stir in pineapple with juice. Cook, stirring constantly until thick. Remove from heat and add margarine and cocomut. Spread on cake while hot.
