Molasses Taffy
2 Tbsp. molasses 2 Tbsp. sugar 2 Tbsp. water 2 Tbsp. butter
Directions: Cook at a brisk boil until smooth, being careful not to burn it. It is done when you can drop a small piece into a glass of cold water and it forms a soft ball. Pour into a buttered pan and cool. Or, you could pull into balls and "roll with your hands" into logs. If you wrap it, use waxed paper.
