Hi - I'm looking for a fudge recipe where the fudge is kept in the freezer yet stays soft enough to eat right out of the fridge! I had it a few years back as a gift and have never been able to find any type of recipe for it. It looks just like fudge, tastes just like fudge, but like I said, it is kept in the freezer but stays soft. Any ideas out there? Thanks for any help anyone can give. Karen Enfield, CT

I hope one of these recipes will work... Frosting Fudge Chill, then store this fudge in the freezer. When taken from the freezer, it is cold, but creamy, so it can be served right away. 1 cup sifted confectioners' sugar 1 teaspoon cold cream or milk 1 container ready-made creamy frosting 1/2 to 1 teaspoon extract in a complimentary flavor Stir sugar, milk and frosting together, then add the flavoring of your choice. If you use juice or pre-melted chocolate or peanut butter, you may have to add more confectioners' sugar to get the right, thick consistency. Pour and place in the freezer. This can be stored in the freezer up to four months. Freezer Fudge 12-oz. pkg. chips (whatever flavor is preferred, peanut butter, semisweet, milk chocolate or white chocolate) 1 11-oz. can sweetened condensed milk 1 tsp. vanilla extract Line a 13 x 9-inch pan with aluminum foil. In a saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the chips, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla until it reaches a smooth consistency. Pour the mixture into the foil-lined pan, and let it cool on the counter. Then move it into the freezer. When hard, cut it into squares, and store in the freezer.

Thank you so much!! I will be trying these soon and let you know how they come out - they sound easy enough to make, too! Thanks again, Karen
