Yankee Cheddar Steak
1 pound round steak 1/2 inch thick 1/4 cup flour 1 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper oil 1 medium onion thinly sliced 1 8 ounce can tomato sauce 1 teaspoon garlic salt 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Cut steak in to serving pieces. Mix flour, salt and pepper: pound in to steak. Brown in oil: place in shallow baking dish. Cover with onion. Mix tomato sauce and garlic salt: pour over onion. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake until cheese melts.
