Tangy Pork Chops and Bean Bake www.aliciasrecipes.com/pork-recipes/default.htm1 (22 oz.) can oven baked beans - Bush's 1 tbsp. barbecue sauce 1/4 tsp. red pepper sauce 6 pork chops 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 med. onion, sliced 1 tbsp. cooking oil 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained - I used a small can of rings and diced them 1/4 c. corn flake crumbs - did not use Combine beans, barbecue sauce and red pepper and sauce. Place 1/2 of this mixture in a 9 x 13 baking dish. Dust the chops with a mixture of garlic, salt, and pepper. Fry chops and onion in oil until brown. Add to top of beans in dish then cover with the remaining beans. Spoon crushed pineapple over top then sprinkle corn flake crumbs over pineapple. Bake at 375 degrees for 50 minutes. *I mixed the BBQ sauce, beans, pepper sauce with the diced pineapple and ¾ of the diced onion. After the chops were browned with ¼ of the diced onion, I poured the bean mixture over all and simmered slowly in my large electric skillet for 30 - 45 minutes. It was great!!!
