TEXTTEXTGoodmorning. I new here and am looking for a recipe for a casserole that a friend of mine used to make. It is a chicken casserole with cressent rolls in it. As close as I can remember you take the chicken and roll it up in the cressent and cover it with cream of something (probably cream of chicken soup). Does anyone here have a recipe like that? If so would you share it please? Hugs....Wrenie

Hi Wrenie.Welcome to the board. Here is one recipe, hope it help's. Cajun Crescent Chicken Casserole 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 whole chicken, cooked and shredded 2 packages crescent rolls 1 can chicken broth Salt and pepper Cajun spice Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Spray a 13 x 9-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Season chicken with salt, pepper and Cajun spice. Mix soups together and add broth. Season with salt and pepper; mix thoroughly. Lay rolls out on dry surface. Add chicken to dough and roll up in the same fashion as a regular crescent roll. Place in prepared baking dish. If there is chicken mixture left, sprinkle it around the rolls. Pour soup mixture over rolls. Bake uncovered for 15 to 23 minutes until you see the tops of the rolls brown and the liquid bubbles. Jay

Thank you Jay. This is really close to what I remember, but my friend didn't use the cajun spice. Thank you for your quick reply. Wrenie

Hi Wrenie, May I also welcome you to Nancy's Kitchen. While searching for the Borden's Tuna Casserole requested by Cashew88, I came across this recipe at cooks.com. Perhaps your friend substituted chicken for the tuna. In any case, I thought you might like to see the recipe. CHEESE & TUNA CRESCENTS Printed from COOKS.COM 1 can (6 1/2 oz.) tuna, drained 1/2 c. chopped onion 3/4 c. shredded cheese 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1/4 tsp. BLAIR onion salt 1 can (8 oz.) Pillsbury quick crescent or Italian flavor dinner rolls 1/2 c. milk BLAIR paprika for garnish Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In small bowl add tuna, onion, 1/2 cup shredded cheese (reserve 1/4 cup cheese for sauce). Add 5 tablespoons soup to bowl; separate dough into 8 triangles. Place 2 tablespoons of tuna mixture on wide end of each dough triangle. Roll up starting at shortest side of each triangle and roll to opposite point. Heat remaining soup, cheese and onion salt. Pour soup mixture into ungreased 8 or 9 inch square pan. Place crescents over soup. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. -Shortcake
