Argo Lemon Sour Cream Pie
Ingredients:
1 cup sugar 1/4 cup cornstarch 1 1/4 cup milk 3 large egg yolks grated lemon rind 1 teaspoon lemon juice 1/3 cup margarine 1/4 cup sour cream 1 cup graham cracker crust whipped cream (optional)
Directions:
Mix sugar and cornstarch in a heavy saucepan.
Stir in milk.
Heat.
Add yolks, lemon rind, juice and butter.
Stir constantly as you bring it to a boil.
Simmer to thicken, about a minute.
Pour into a bowl, cover with plastic wrap and chill until cool but not set.
Stir in sour cream and turn into the pie crust.
If desired, this can be garnished with sour cream.
