1) Do not fill cooker more than 2/3 full 2) Per pound most meats take 8-10 minutes for rare 10-12 minutes for medium 12-15 minutes for well done 3) Chicken Young birds 1 1/2 to 2 pounds take only 10 minutes cooking time Larger birds approx 4 pounds will be cooked in 15 minutes 4) If you need to stop cooking right away place pot under cool running water.
