Crockpot - Three Cheese Macaroni Pie
1 8oz. box elbow pasta, cooked al dente to pkg. directions
1 1/2 c. grated Mozzarella cheese
1 1/2 c. grated medium Cheddar cheese
1 16oz. can evaporated milk
1 1/2 c. sweet milk, or 1 1/2 c. sour milk or buttermilk
...with 3/4 tsp. baking soda mixed in
2 eggs
1/4 c. butter, (1/2 stick)
1 tsp. white sugar
salt and pepper to taste
grated Parmesan cheese for sprinkling
Grease the interior of the crockpot/slow cooker.
Combine elbow noodles with all the other ingredients,
except the grated cheese.
Pour into the crockpot.
Cook on medium heat for 3 1/2 hours.
OR
Cook on low heat for 4 hours.
Serve sprinkled with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
