Hi-I'm making the strawberry-banana jello mold on this website and I'm wondering if sour cream between the layers of jello is correct. Please advise if you know. Does it taste okay with sour cream?

Hi MaWeb, Is this the Strawberry-Banana Jello Mold recipe you are making? members.amaonline.com/nrogers/Kitchen/jello/strawberry_banana_jello_mold_recipe.htmSTRAWBERRY - BANANA GELATIN MOLD 2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry-banana gelatin 2 c. boiling water 1 pt. frozen strawberries 1 lg. can crushed pineapple 3-4 bananas, diced or cubed 1 pt. sour cream Add water to gelatin. Add frozen strawberries. Stir until separated. Add pineapple and bananas. Put 1/2 of mixture into bowl to set. When firm, add sour cream on top and rest of gelatin mixture. I use a glass bowl. It makes a very pretty table setting. It also makes a large recipe. The sour cream between the layers is correct. It is also refreshing and delicious. -Shortcake

Thankyou! It's a tasty recipe, easy and refreshing. I put sour cream on half of the 13x9 pan because I remembered some guests couldn't have milk products. MaWeb
