OH MY GOSH!! I went grocery shopping today. I was in the produce aisle.. I went to buy tomatoes and the price of them was absolutely outrageous!! I picked up this one and it was medium to large in size (not any larger than any of the other ones that were there.). I had to go weigh it. It weighed one pound. It was going to cost $3.35 for that ONE tomato!! I could not believe it!!
How are the prices where you live??
Hey.. What is everyone paying for gas? (reg. unleaded)
Here the gas prices range from $1.81-$1.88. If you buy it at Walmart (1.81) (and pay with one of there gift cards, it is .3 cents less a gallon.
When I was in CA there prices were $2.11 and up. and I had to pump my own gas. Which I had never done before in my life! (I'm in Oregon and we don't pump our own gas.)
Look forward to hearing from all of you! RObyn

I live in the UK and we pay roughly about 79p a litre for gasoline, which would equate to about $5.04 per gallon american. Most things are expensive here though, that's why they call it rip off Britain!

I live in Canada, the prices here are about .80/liter.
As for the tomatoes, it is about 1.00 to 1.29 /pound.
Things are getting to be more and more expensive.
