It's very easy to keep cooked bacon on hand. Simply fry several pounds at once, clean up the mess only once, and keep the crisp bacon in an airtight container in the freezer until you need it - it will keep for several months. When you want a BLT, just remove the number of slices you want and microwave them 30 to 40 seconds.
