KIPPERS IN LIGHT CREME SAUCE
ingredients
kippers handfull parsley uncut spring onions chopped fine recently boiled water 1 tablespoon creme fraiche
method
lay kippers in pan with the parsley and spring onions ~ pour over almost boiling water to half cover and place lid on pan.. leave for 5 minutes
meanwhile, in small pan ~ place 2 tablespoons of the liquid from the kipper pan with some of the spring onions.. bring to the boil ~ add creme fraiche and cook gently to thicken a little..
remove kippers to a plate.. and pour over the sauce, serve with potatoes and eggs...
