I am a lifelong, up and down dieter with about 50 pounds to lose. Have tried low-fat, slim-fast and weight watchers. Had the biggest success 25 years ago on weight watchers. Can't seem to get anywhere on the points program. My basic problem is because I know all the tricks, it's hard to keep motivated. I also think it has become harder as I get older. Would like someone to help motivate and can help with the slow down due to aging. I am in my mid-40's. TEXT

I am there with you, everything you mentioned. I am older than you, so I know age plays an important role. I had my best success with WW also in past years. My problem is I just get tired of all the counting and weighing of food, and worrying about every bite I put in my mouth, if I ate one too many points, etc. I was diagnosed with diabetes a couple of months ago and it is probably the best thing that happened to me weight-wise. I just quit eating what diabetics can't have and I lost 25 pounds in about 35 days. e-mail me if you want to and we will work on this together.
