1 1/2 cups sugar 2 eggs, beaten 1/2 cup oil 2 cups flour 2 tablespoons baking soda 1/4 tablespoon salt 1 can (#2)fruit thingytail, juice and all Glaze: stick butter 1/2 cup sugar or more 1/2 cup canned milk Carnation 1 tablespoon vanilla
Sift together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside. Cream together sugar, eggs and oil. Combine flour mixture and sugar mixture. Add fruit thingytail - juice and all. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. To make Glaze: Melt butter. Add sugar, add other ingredients, boil one minute. Spoon over hot cake. Serve with whipped cream.

;D This is a very good cake.I make it quite often. I have several requests to make this for people.I tell them I will give them the recipe.But they say mine is better. I think they are just to lazy to fix it.What is it they say. they want their cake and eat it too.With out the work. I don.t mind tho.I enjoy cooking. Jay
