BROWNIE CHOCOLATE CAKE Mix 2 cups of sugar and 2 cups of flour and set aside. MIX: 4 T cocoa 1 stick margerine 1 cup water 1/2 cup Crisco Bring to a boil then pour over flour/sugar mixture ADD: 1/2 cup buttermilk 2 eggs - slightly beaten 1 tsp soda 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp vanilla 1/2 tsp salt Mix well and pour in greased 16" x 11" pan (deep cookie sheet works best). Bake at 350 degrees for twenty minutes. About 5 minutes before cake is done, prepare the following frosting. Mix and bring to a boil: 1 stick margarine 6 T milk 4 T cocoa Remove from heat and add: 1 box powdered sugar 1 T vanilla 1 cup chopped nuts Beat well and spread quickly on hot cake.
